What's New?
GroupBuyCenter.com changes all the time. Mostly because this is a live marketplace, you'll see new products, group buys and sales every day. But we also make changes to the website modifying and adding features for buyers and sellers.
Mar 27th 2007 - Fee changes
- We have drastically reduced the cost of listing premium products. We have also revamped our advertising to make the site more buyer friendly.
Nov 23rd 2005 - Vendor membership changes
- We have will be waiving vendor monthly fees, previously $10 per month to post products and group buys. These fees are now not required. This will help vendors sell more, and that will in turn keep our customer visits high. Those who have recently paid will receive a pro-rated refund.
Aug 18th 2005 - RSS Feeds
- We now offer an RSS feed for your RSS reader or browser. It will show the latest group buys, and the hot ones.
Aug 7th 2005 - Bad emails, auto reset
- If we think your email address is invalid, we'll give you the ability to fix it, rather than email us.
- Welcome reverse auctions back to GroupBuyCenter.com
Jan 20th 2005 - Featured Products Link, Annual Membership
- Add the ability for vendors to featured their own products
- Add the ability for vendors to purchase subscription membership at a discount
Jan 11th 2005 - Reverse Auctions, Featured Products and Misc
- Reverse Auctions moved to ThePerformanceDepot.com (moved back in Aug 2005, see above)
- A few minor broken links fixed
- Some products are now featured
- Some vendor links enabled where previously they did not exist
- Fixed a problem where paypal links wouldn't be correct for shipping or if the product name had a double quote in it
November 18th 2004 - Fixes and Enhancments
November 2nd 2004 - Outange and Enhancment
- On the afternoon of November 1st, we had a powersupply failure in our server. It was fixed about 2 hours later.
- Added support for data feeds to other websites.
October 28th 2004 - Few Fixes and Tweaks
- Put purchase links on sale pages directly to buy
- Vendor phone number added to vendor detail, for logged in members
- Moved new Group Buys/Sales to top of page (3 day timer)
- Added new product section on product listing page changed icons
- Improved caching of some components for better system response
- Minor fixes
October 26th 2004 - Few Fixes and Tweaks
We've redesigned our website, and have changed a several things including:
- Order Status Page
- Order page now directed to secure site
- Automatic Membership Account creation for non-members
- Automatted Login Option
- HTML allowed submits to products and group buys fix
- Added some old page names to redirect to new pages
- Few minor fixes
October 24th 2004 - New Site
We've redesigned our website, and have changed a several things including:
- Seperated Buy Now products from group buys
- Preserve Products for vendors to reuse across multiple group buys and sales
- Easier Searching
- Dashboard
- Watches (watch group buys or sales)
